FAQ

Q.  How long does it take to have a bra fitting?

A.  Bra fitting times vary person to person, but in general they take approximately 30-60 minutes.

Q.  Do I need to bring anything or do anything to prepare for my fitting?

A.  It’s always helpful if you bring your favorite bra so we can see what you like or don’t like about it.  When you are preparing for your fitting, do not wear perfumes, lotions or deodorants that can potentially damage the bras you’re trying on.

Q.  I am really modest and I feel uncomfortable about being exposed to a stranger.  Can I try on bras without help?

A.  We discourage trying on bras without our assistance because we want you to LOVE your purchase and as professional bra fitters, there are things we look for that might not be immediately visible to the untrained eye.  We are professional fitters and we honor modesty by standing behind you during the fitting, quickly moving through the bra styles and talking through the “clinical” things we see in your fitting.  We also provide robes while you wait and we can also schedule your appointment during slow times so you feel more comfortable during your visit.

Ultimately, your comfort is our priority and making sure you leave wearing the best bra for your body type is our primary goal.  Ultimately,,if you are uncomfortable with a professional fitter assisting you, we can modify our technique to meet your needs.

Q. How much is a good bra?

A.  Bras range from $40-$150.  The bra that works best for you is dependent on the fit, not the price.  We have bras for every budget and we sell only high quality brands, even for those on a budget.

Q.  Why do I have to pay for a bra that I’m ordering if you don’t carry it in stock?

A.  We ask for full payment for special orders up front because we are expected to buy every bra that comes into our store.  Manufacturers generally will not ship merchandise before it’s paid for and we often must place minimum orders, even if we need just one or two bras.  There have also been instances when we ordered bras for someone and when they arrived, they never were picked up or paid for.  This can be really hard on a small business therefore, we had to adjust our policy.

Q.  Why don’t you accept returns of bras and other intimates if the tags are still on?

A.  For hygiene reasons, all intimates are final sale.  An intimate includes any item that touches intimate parts for an extended period of time.  Bras are considered intimates because of “boob sweat”.  We changed our policy after several customers wore intimates for special events and returned them to us with tags on.  While you may not be the type of customer to do such a thing, it happens frequently and we have no way of knowing something has been worn unless it visibly looks worn or if we do a “sniff test”.  Our staff are not paid enough to sniff undergarments therefore, we have a strict policy.  We encourage customers to work with their fitter and try things on before buying.

we want you to love your purchase!  If something you bought doesn’t feel right when you get it home, just give us a call or come in and we can help troubleshoot any issues you might be having.
